Movement and culture of LINAK®
Behind the jocularity of Michelle Marcucci, After Sales Service Coordinator at LINAK, is a passionate and optimistic person. After 21 years working at LINAK Australia, Michelle Marcucci reflects on her time and shares her outlook on the New Year ahead.
Melbournians have tried to navigate the COVID-19 virus challenges during the last two years. But after six lockdowns and a ring of steel around us, it is time to venture out and enjoy leisurely activities. The Melbourne Cup Day public holiday saw people out in droves, fleeing their homes for that sprint escape to their place of freedom.
Most LINAK employees have been working from home, with a minority of staff working in the office. However, the spirit of LINAK remained alive and well during the lockdowns.
LINAK is a great place to work. Over the years, I have experienced a unique culture and a great working environment. LINAK believes in a healthy work-life balance. It is a workplace where I am encouraged to express my ideas, opinions, and concerns. The staff value and respect one another, and everyone helps each other.

At LINAK, we commit to living out our company values of creativity, the will to change, loyalty, openness and honesty, enthusiasm and individual efficiency, job satisfaction and helpfulness. I am confident that as we move into our next phase, collectively, we will keep moving forward to meet our challenges and targets and provide electric linear actuator solutions to create smooth movement in various applications.
We are very aware of our psychosocial impacts and offer meaningful ways to manage the challenges ahead.
LINAK Australia Pty Ltd headquarters is currently moving to Dandenong South. It was a measured decision to relocate our Head Office in Melbourne in early December, seeing the end of 2021.
Once all staff come back to work, I am sure there is a good chance we will have different expectations. People will have thoughts about their lives, families, health, and work roles.

Moving location for a fresh start to the year in 2022 is both exciting and exhilarating. I am confident the new office will become a place where people collaborate, share and exchange information, creatively solve problems and build our LINAK Community.
So, move over 2021 because the LINAK team have much in store for the New Year. We are moving on up in 2022! We will be getting our lives back on track, coming back strong, growing and kicking goals, and focusing on serving our existing customers and new ones.
