Next-generation Li-ion battery designed for LINAK control boxes with improved safety profile and dual PCP connectors. Ideal for hospital and medical applications where IPX6 Washable protection class is required.

BA22

Developed with additional mechanical safety precautions inside the battery enclosure, the BA22 Li-Ion battery pack has been specially developed for use with PCP 2.0 control boxes. It is a lightweight battery with built-in charger and 2.9 Ah capacity, and is IPX6 washable offering high performance and safety.

Further benefits of using the BA22 Li-Ion are:

Extended lifetime
Easy to remove and attach the battery with snap system and LINAK mounting bracket on application or under control box
The battery provides charging status information to the control box. This makes it possible to receive an indication via the control box to the handset or in the Service Data Tool.
New vented design acts as a pressure valve to ensure a safe failure. This means that there must be an air gap of 5 cm on at least one of the sides so that the vent is not blocked, in case of an emergency.

If any and all of the Li-ion batteries built into LINAK products are found to be defective under warranty, LINAK will provide a new product to the OEM. LINAK explicitly disclaims all other remedies. LINAK shall not in any event be liable under any circumstances for any special indirect punitive incidental or consequential damages or losses arising from any incident related to the inherent risk of thermal runaway in the Li-ion cell and any use of LINAK products. Moreover, LINAK explicitly disclaims lost profits, failure to realise expected savings, any claim against our customer by a third party, or any other commercial or economic losses of any kind, even if LINAK has been advised of the possibility of such damages or losses.
