For over 40 years, Pressalit has relied on LINAK electric solutions to improve life for people with disabilities and their caregivers. The solutions span everything from shower and changing tables to sinks, toilet lifters, kitchens, and wall-mounted tables.
Accessible from anywhere

Making a kitchen or worktop height-adjustable greatly enhances accessibility for everyone: “It’s about designing spaces that allow people to be independent, whether at home, at school, or at airport counters,” says Andreas Kjær Thomsen, Chief Product Marketing Officer at Pressalit. “When solutions are adaptable, more people gain equal access, and interiors become both inclusive and flexible."
Pressalit’s INDIVO solution for tables is a height-adjustable frame that is fixed to a vertical surface. The frame is available in several sizes and is therefore easily integrated into existing interiors. It has a load capacity of up to 150 kg and uses LINAK electric lifting columns for height adjustment. Combined with Pressalit’s construction, this provides a frame that creates a gliding, stable, and quiet movement. The INDIVO series also offers solutions for adjusting top cupboards.
A strong and long-term partnership
Through more than four decades of collaboration, Pressalit and LINAK have created numerous innovative solutions where quality and functionality go hand in hand. United by a commitment to develop products that make a genuine difference in daily life, we have built a strong and lasting partnership.
"We see LINAK as a technically strong and responsive partner. Their systems meet our high standards and provide the flexibility we need in development," says Andreas Kjær Thomsen. “It’s important to us that our suppliers deliver not just components, but complete solutions that combine quality with user-friendliness."
A big difference for many

For example, when institutions, offices, public buildings, and the hospitality sector install height-adjustable desks, they create spaces where everyone is on an equal footing:
"We see enormous potential in flexible solutions designed for everyone – regardless of ability,” says Vibeke Sanggaard Sørensen, Senior Project Manager at Pressalit. “It’s about creating environments where everyone can participate fully and without barriers, where accessibility is a natural part of the design."
