Imagine reading a book in bed. The back of your bed is adjusted to perfectly support your back as you turn the page – you are relaxing. Suddenly, everything goes black. It is another blackout – and there is no telling how long it will last this time. For many consumers, this could very well be their night.
We recognise that in some countries and regions, blackouts and power cuts are everyday occurrences, and with an adjustable bed or elevation bed, which requires power to operate, the immediate concern that comes to mind is – how do I adjust it now?
Do not worry. Just because you manufacture a bed equipped with an electric dual actuator system, it does not mean that your customers will end up sleeping upright in the event of a power cut.
A simple solution with clear guidance
Whether you use a Standard or an Advanced dual actuator system, you will find a hex key attached to the actuator itself. The hex key is a standard part of both the Advanced and the Standard dual actuators from LINAK. This ensures that consumers are always able to lower the backrest or the leg rest manually. Clear arrow icons indicate exactly where to insert the hex key and in which direction to turn it. The lowering itself runs smooth and effortless.
