Both the Standard and Advanced versions share numerous desirable features, including an elegant and slim design, a pleasant sound level, speed control, soft start and stop, Under Bed Light, mechanical emergency lowering, and Bluetooth® connectivity. In addition, both versions operate at a constant speed regardless of load, ensuring a smooth and comfortable bed adjustment – a feature we refer to as speed control.
From an environmental perspective, all TWINDRIVE® dual actuators are manufactured using PVC-Free™ materials and featuring ZERO™ technology, which limits standby power consumption to below 0.1 W.
However, despite their many shared features, there are key differences between the LINAK Standard and Advanced dual actuators.
Integrated features will vary
At LINAK, we aim to integrate as many features as possible into our TWINDRIVE® dual actuators by default. However, the specific features integrated differ depending on whether the actuator is a Standard or Advanced version. The Standard version includes a set of integrated features, while the Advanced version offers additional functionality and the flexibility to add more products to a system.
- Standard dual actuator features: soft start/stop, speed control, pleasant sound level, Under Bed Light, mechanical emergency lowering, and Bluetooth for wireless control.
- Advanced dual actuator features: all Standard features, parallel drive of two beds, favourite positions, and the option to add accessory (for example,: Massage Motor or LED Light Rail).
Advanced: Additional ports and an SMPS
The only visual distinction between the Standard and Advanced versions lies in the port configuration. The Standard version features one port for the mains cable, while the Advanced version includes an RJ45 port and two DC ports. These additional ports enable the creation of an advanced adjustable bed system.
In practice, the Standard version has an integrated power supply and requires only a mains cable. The Advanced version requires an external SMPS and a separate power cable. This visual difference helps distinguish between the two systems.
